Following are photo's from the Coalition's past endevors as well as some photo's of  environmentally hazardous dumping in Bellevue.

Not knowing the answer to a question allows that questions to linger in one's mind.

Living with unanswered questions when one is sure the answers are known by others,

can cause needless worry, loss of sleep, and stress, all of which can contribute

to illness.

The CCC purchased this billboard with Grant monies to educate residents

The main goal or mission of the CCC is to provide our communities

children with the same air and healthy environment that other

children in surrounding communities are given.

Our children are our future.

Town of Cheektowaga Dump Truck over filled

Notice this Cheektowaga dump truck has no tarp covering stone.

This is why broken windshields are common in our community.

Stones fall off the over-loaded truck's.

If our Town will not use tarps how can

we expect others to cover their stone?

Well water sample's were taken.

Due to continued pressure from CCC membership,

ALL Cheektowaga residents now have access to

water lines and are no longer forced to use

contaminated well water.

CCC membership uncovered a thick black substance oozzing

from the Bellevue fire hall property. This coalition

was responcible for the clean-up of this site.

CCC President John Stonefield demonstrates the Bucket Brigade.

The Bellevue Bucket Brigade uncovered high levels of toxin

in the air near Buffalo Crushed Stone's drainage site on

their first attempt. Levels were 70% higher then that of the EPA

limits. This finding was over two years ago, what has been

done about it? We were told that there was ice in the quarries

which prevented the proper flow of water from their pumps

into Cayuga Creek.

How were the residents of Bellevue reassured

that no harm had come to them? Nothing was said.

Past Town Supervisor Dennis Gabryszak

Dennis Gabryszak is now the areas state assemblymen -

in this photo he was in office as Cheektowaga's Supervisor.

Mr Gabryszak is instructing the back-hoe driver as

he removed the black tar from the area.

We wonder what he is thinking of

Buffalo Crushed Stone's current

attempt to mine the area between

the two existing quarries.

Support from the state level may protect

the areas youth from environmental

injustice.

Environmental Injustice at it's worst.

Pre-schoolers exposed to unknown amounts of

particulate in the hot sun.

How can we protect them if we do not

know what they are exposed to?

Why are we being made to prove what is there?

Why is Buffalo Crushed Stone

not made to prove what is not

in the particulate they expose our youth to?

Past Officers of the CCC picket BCS

As the CCC moves into the future, we reflect on our past

and thank those who gave many hours of their time

to create this coalition.

Dr. Joseph Gardella Jr. speaks to media at BCS

We thank Dr Gardella and other members of the

University of Buffalo staff that have supported

this Coalitions effort to find the answers to our

environmental questions.

Suite - Kote clean - up

This clean up was made possible by local residents,

should these residents have kept their mouths shut

and closed their eyes, this substance would have continued

to leach out in to our community

as well as into our water table.

Speaking up is the right thing to do.

crushed barrel unearthed on BCS property (Suite-Kote)

We must wonder, what was in this substance

that was taken from the ground in our community?

Wonder is all we can do, state and local officials

do not share thier test results.

If nothing is to be feared then why do they not

share their reports? An educated resident will not fear

something that is shown to be safe.

Fear of the unknown is the worst fear of all.
